Musician Dave Tieff On A Mission To Raise $1,000,000 For Charity
We recently heard about a musician based out of Maryland, Dave Tieff, who is determined to raise $1,000,000 for charity through his music by 12/31/09. Amnesty International is one of the four charities of his choice and we felt compelled to let all of you know about his mission.
Read his story. Be inspired.
Perhaps Eleanor Roosevelt said it best:
"Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home - so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world. Yet they are the world of the individual person; the neighborhood he lives in; the school or college he attends; the factory, farm, or office where he works. Such are the places where every man, woman, and child seeks equal justice, equal opportunity, equal dignity without discrimination. Unless these rights have meaning there, they have little meaning anywhere. Without concerted citizen action to uphold them close to home, we shall look in vain for progress in the larger world."

Tieff Scam
Dave and Meghan tieff are scam artist.
donating is not a scam
There is nothing scam-like with this. Dave is a passionate musician focused on his causes. It's awesome! More musicians should be out there doing things like this...

Hi. I like your blog. well done!
I think this is trash
It pains me to see this posted on here.. did anyone do ANY research?? this man is ONLY trying to get his music heard and become famous. he has a llc... are ALL proceeds going to his charities?? I think NOT ..I am appaled..
all the "media" is all about him and his wife and what they do NOT really about amnesty international or raising money for the charities.. come people see a scam when it stares you in the face!!!!
Defending my mission
Karen T, I have no idea who you are but it's sad that you would make such allegations for no reason. My donations are done through Paypal and they are totally transparent, and AI has access to them anytime they want. They've been amazingly supportive. I'm a musician and my wife is a fitness trainer, and we like to use those skills to raise money for the causes we believe in. It's a shame someone would take fault with that, but that's your issue, not ours. We obviously both support AI, it's just too bad you decided to lash out without knowing the facts.
